MSI Consultants Appoints Lucas Pereira Chairman Of The Board Of Directors
At a meeting held this morning São Paulo based Investor relations company MSI Consultants appointed Mr Lucas Pereira to the position of Chairman
SAO PAULO, BRAZIL, November 03, 2012
Mr Pereira (52) who is already the company's Chief Executive Officer will therefore be titled Executive Chairman.As CEO at MSI Consultants Lucas Pereira has achieved strong profits throughout the turbulent past years. He holds a masters degree in business administration from the University of São Paulo and has been with the company since its formation.
Mr Pereira commented "I'm very pleased to be taking the chair of MSI Consultants at this crucial stage in the company's development.
Commenting on Mr Pereira's appointment, Non-executive Director Mr Herison Soares said:
"Lucas has personally welcomed every new corporate client on board since the company began. He has the longevity and prosperity of the company at heart, and I would like to welcome Lucas to the new role of Executive Chairman of MSI Consultants. He has been instrumental to the company more than ten years now, during which time we have grown tremendously. Considering our current position it seems like right moment to strengthen our Board with his appointment."
MSI Consultants is currently investing and expanding in new areas, such as the launch of the company's private equity fund in 2013, and will benefit from the consolidation of its board of directors prior to these new engagements.
Given the current market climate for investment property in Brazil, and the resources the company is to put in support of this new venture, Mr Pereira says he is confident of the venture being a success, and added that this maybe the beginning of something big for the company.
