SEUG Honored in Mississippi's Healthcare Heroes Class of 2012

Southeast Urogynecology (SEUG) was honored on Oct. 26 as a member of Mississippi's Heath Care Heroes Class of 2012 for outstanding health care professionals whose contributions have increased the wellbeing of the entire community.

JACKSON, MS, November 14, 2012 (Press-News.org) Southeast Urogynecology (SEUG), a female pelvic heath center located in Jackson, MS was honored Wednesday by the Mississippi Business Journal as a member of Mississippi's Heath Care Heroes Class of 2012. The award recognizes outstanding health care professionals whose contributions have increased the wellbeing of the entire community.

"This is a tremendous honor for our practice, " remarked Dr. Robert Harris, co-founder of SEUG. "My partner, Dr. Steven Speights, and I have worked very hard to raise women's awareness about the many minimally invasive treatment options available for women with pelvic health disorders. We dedicate this award to our wonderful staff and most importantly, our patients."

Southeast Urogyn was among several other organizations receiving the Health Care Heroes distinction in the second year of the award's existence.
