SUWANEE, GA, November 14, 2012 (Press-News.org) What do the alphabet and having a firm foundation of faith have in common? When a child learns to read, she studies her ABCs and discovers how connecting letters together forms words, sentences and complete thoughts. Through The Christian Alphabet Book, young readers will learn not only foundational Christian truths, but how these truths weave together to create a rich tapestry of faith.
In her book, Sands uses scripture and easy-to-grasp images to help parents share the Gospel of Jesus Christ with their children.
On these beautifully illustrated pages, parents and their young readers will find a word that corresponds with every letter in the alphabet. Each diagramed letter is deep in meaning, with close to 100 ancient and modern images used over the past 2000 years to express important concepts of the Christian faith. One page portrays the letter (including the symbols used to create the letter) along with the word it represents, and a corresponding scripture. The facing page contains an explanation of the word and additional scriptures, all written in language easily understood by children ages 4 and up. Pages in the back of the book explain the symbols used.
The Christian Alphabet Book is more than just a children's book. It is a book that families can cherish together while sharing its timeless messages that give glory to God.
