BEVERLY HILLS, CA, November 28, 2012 (Press-News.org) On Wednesday November 14, 2012, The World Protection Group's CEO, Kent Moyer, attended the Overseas Security Advisory Council's (OSAC) 27th annual briefing in Washington, D.C. Mr. Moyer's attendance and participation in such an event will help The World Protection Group (WPG) stay current on the latest challenges in executive protection services worldwide.

The theme of the seminar was "Protecting your Organization in a Changing World," and addressed topics such as best practices for integrating global security into organization-wide risk assessments, case studies in combating cybercrime, challenges to operating in different countries around the world. Notable speakers included Deputy Secretary of State Thomas Nides, Ambassador Jon Huntsman, and former CIA official, Cofer Black. The event included a number of breakout sessions, as well as regional briefings on topics such as lessons learned from recent high profile events and security management best practices. These briefing were beneficial as they addressed current issues that affect executive protection strategies and practices in different countries around the world.
