Seniors Sam Ackerman and Dimitri Lettas and Junior Brian Rapp Headline Latest Baseball Commits from Time to Sign Sports

PALM BEACH GARDENS, FL, December 02, 2012

Time to Sign Sports continues its incredible success stories with the announcement that three pitchers will continue their baseball careers at the college level.

Sam Ackerman, a right hand pitcher from Montclair, New Jersey will continue his baseball career at the school he always set as his goal. According to Gary Cohn, Time to Sign Sports co-founder, "From day one, Sam had a fascination of playing ball and attending GW. Now, he not only gets to live out that dream, but we believe he will make an impact as a Freshman." Ackerman had several other opportunities to consider. In the end, George Washington gives Sam everything he was looking. "Sam has been a dominant pitcher in New Jersey throughout his High School career. This past Fall, it all started to click and it was hard for the colleges not to take notice of Sam," concludes Berg Ohanian, Time to Sign Sports' other co-founder.

Elon lands Dimitri Lettas, a right hand pitcher from Long Island. Following his older brother who also played ball in college, Lettas gives Elon a polished pitcher. "DImitri is a gamer. He gets it. With an easy arm action and tremendous run on his fast ball, Demitri is going to give the Phoenix a great pitching option," says Cohn. Ohanian adds, "I have known the Lettas' a long time and when they approached me for guidance, it was a no brainer. This kid is the real deal. I really think you are going to see his contribution to the Elon program for the next several years."

Brian Rapp, a right handed pitcher who is part of the 2014 High School graduating class, has verbally committed to Boston College. Not just a pitcher, Rapp will give the Eagles a legitimate two-way player. "When you think of a competitor, you think of Brian Rapp. A bulldog on the mound, he is both confident and hard working," notes Cohn. Rapp's upside is limitless. Ohanian remarks, "Brian is a real student-athlete from Mendham, NJ. He is a guy who wants the ball in the toughest situations. He will challenge the top hitters in the country...and win. Brian is a born leader and will do just that when he steps foot on the campus of Boston College."
