First Aid at Work Refresher Course Launches

Train Aid Ltd has kicked started the New Year by unveiling a new line up of exciting training courses. The company is set to launch a new First Aid at Work Refresher course in February 2013, which is thought will be the first of many such announcements. As per usual the courses will be held monthly at training HQ in Greenwich (London), which is accessible in just 10 minutes from the centre of the capital. The course itself is designed for people who have prior knowledge of the field, and who simply need to update their certificate.

The latest launch is a useful addition to the wide portfolio of courses that Train Aid offers. This particular course condenses the full three day qualification into a more concise two day format. Candidates already possess prior knowledge of first aid, and therefore more emphasis is placed on refreshing as opposed to learning new skills. At the end of the course candidates receive a certificate which is approved by the HSE, and is valid for a period of three years.

The only prerequisite to signing up is that candidates have completed the full three day qualification and that their certificate has not expired by more than 28 days. If this is the case they can save themselves a full days training by enrolling. This shows Train Aid may have designed the course as a way of helping current and former clients. The courses initially may not reach capacity, but will help save client's time and money. A spokesman from the company (Steve Faber) was on hand to tell us a little bit more:

"The introduction of this course makes sense as there is always a demand to condense training down into the shortest time frame possible. This is not because people are trying to avoid it, but more so that their time and ultimately money is very important."
