YORKSHIRE, ENGLAND, January 09, 2013 (Press-News.org) Over 2500 professionals are expected to attend the event on January 12th 2013. The day will comprise of presentations by leading professionals on the subjects of sales, management and entrepreneurship, followed by the handing out of awards to top industry performers.
Qaysar Bhatti, managing director of East Yorkshire-based company, Tempest Elite Marketing, explains "It's a great opportunity to network with new and established talent, and find out who is really at the top of their game. We have nominated a couple of our outstanding suppliers for awards too, and although the competition is fierce we are keeping our fingers crossed! It's great to see individuals and companies recognised for their achievements."
Awards being presented on the 12th January will include the 'Rising Star' award for new industry achievers; and the 'Outstanding Achievement in a Leadership Capacity' award which promotes individuals with exceptional people management and team development skills. Other prizes will go to company owners who have seen unprecedented success over 2012, the 'Rookie Owner' award for entrepreneurs in their first year of business ownership, and awards for business owners who have regenerated a struggling company.
Tempest Elite Marketing is intending to bring 15 of its top traders and suppliers to the event, which will feature representatives from organisations across the UK and overseas. Last year's event featured delegates and keynote speakers from Spain, Portugal, Italy and the USA. The 2012 event also featured a surprise guest speaker, a household name from the world of enterprise, James Caan. Qaysar Bhatti remains uncertain as to whether this will feature in the 2013 event. "The 'mystery guest speaker' was announced several weeks before last year's ceremony, and it kept us all guessing who it could be. Whether or not the organisers have something similar up their sleeve for this year's event remains to be seen. They like to throw out a surprise just to keep everyone guessing."
Tempest Elite Marketing intend to use the ceremony as a networking opportunity to meet potential business partners, suppliers and clients. Qaysar Bhatti says "Although events like these are great for meeting new contacts, it is just as important to follow up on these leads after the event. If this is done successfully, then long-term business relationships can be generated. I have met some of my most influential mentors and contacts through events like these, and I am sure that the 2013 Direct Sales Award Ceremony will be no different."
Tempest Elite Marketing provide outsourced direct marketing and sales solutions to national clients, and are looking to break new company records in 2013.
