William Benner Takes Part in Approved Joseph Stanley Park Project

William Benner, of Benner and Wild, served as the project's land use attorney in New Hope Borough.

2013-01-20
DOYLESTOWN, PA, January 20, 2013 (Press-News.org) William Benner, of Benner and Wild, in Doylestown, Pa, served as the land use attorney for the recently approved Joseph Stanley Park project. The project was approved by the New Hope Borough Council on January 15.

Benner was very proud to be a part of the final project approval. The approval by the borough authorizes the redevelopment of the historic Cintra Mansion, located in New Hope Borough. The Cintra Mansion which is recognized as a historic treasure had recently fallen into disrepair.

J. Robert Hillier, renowned Princeton-based architect, purchased the four acre lot in August 2011 after New Hope's zoning hearing board granted the project needed zoning relief. Benner represented Hillier's development company in that application. Following the granting of the needed zoning variances, the focus of the development turned to obtaining land development approval. The process concluded on January 15 where the New Hope Borough Council voted unanimously to grant the project's final approval.

The Joseph Stanley Park project proposes the creation of 29 condominiums of which four will remain within the four story historic Cintra Mansion. Hillier says, while the interior will be greatly modernized, the exterior will be restored to its former beauty and retain its circa 1816 features. Work is expected to begin this summer and take a year to complete.

Since 1995, Benner and Wild has provided quality legal services for clients in Bucks County Pa and its surrounding areas. Founders, William Benner and Edward Wild provide their clients with real estate representation, business law, commercial law and criminal law.
