ROANOKE, VA, February 07, 2013 (Press-News.org) The Virginia Veterinary Medical Association (http://www.vvma.org/) has announced that it will host the 2013 Virginia Veterinary Conference (VVC) from Thursday, Feb. 28 until Saturday, March 2 at The Hotel Roanoke & Conference Center, located at 110 Shenandoah Ave. The educational conference is hosted in association with the Virginia Association of Equine Practitioners, the Virginia Academy of Food Animal Practice and the Virginia Association of Licensed Veterinary Technicians. The weekend-long conference will include the latest information for veterinarians in all areas of practice. This includes lectures and classes on public practice, small animals, exotic animals, complementary medicine, equine, food animals and a host of other veterinary technician topics. It offers a total of 75 hours of continuing education and will feature a keynote address from veterinarian and NASA astronaut, Dr. Richard Linnehan.
