SURREY, ENGLAND, February 28, 2013 (Press-News.org) London-based photographer Peter Bur has just announced the launch of a new area on his website dedicated to architectural photography. The new section explains the wider applications of architectural photography, and also its inherent challenges.
According to Peter, 'Architecture is a visual art: my work as an architectural photographer is to produce imagery that expresses the artistic vision of the architect or designer at a point in time. I created this new area of my site, not only to articulate my own approach to this highly skilled area of photography, but also to show that it can be used in a wide variety of applications, from editorial features for magazines, though to corporate brochures and even reports. Architectural photography has an extensive number of uses.'
One of Peter's 'unique selling points' as an architectural photographer is his understanding of the industry, due to his experience of working in these sectors. According to Peter, 'The experience I gained from many years working in the construction and engineering industry has helped me to develop an appreciation for the built environment'. It is this experience and appreciation for the architects 'vision' that has helped Peter to establish his reputation in this field. Peter added, ' I am very keen to share my passion for the subject with a wider audience. Over time I hope to expand this area of my website to explore different facets of architectural photography in more depth.'
Peter is a commercial and architectural photographer based in London. He also regularly accepts commissions for fashion and beauty photography. You can see more of Peter Bur's work at:
