CAI Announces March 2013 Training Seminars And Development Programs In Greensboro

Local HR Management Firm Offers Comprehensive Training Courses For Triad Business Professionals

GREENSBORO, NC, March 06, 2013

-"Forklift Operator: Train the Trainer" is a full-day course that will provide participants with the needed formal training for serving as a designated forklift trainer. During the course, which is based on the Occupational Safety and Health Administration's (OSHA) Revised Standard for Powered Industrial Truck Operator Training, participants will review the formal, or classroom, section of the required forklift training to learn how to become an effective instructor. -"Cutting Your Workers' Compensation Costs: How to Reduce Costs and Avoid Pitfalls" is a one-day course designed to provide HR professionals with tools and strategies to manage difficult Workers' Compensation claims. During the course, participants will gain an in-depth understanding of the Workers' Compensation process and will develop strategies for aggressive claims management. Additionally, participants will discuss the Occupational Safety and Health Administration's (OSHA) organizational expectations and record keeping requirements. -"The Basics of Self-Funded Health Plans" is a free three-hour seminar that will cover the basics of self-funded health plans against the backdrop of healthcare reform, examining common terminology and disadvantages to self-funding. During the seminar, attendees will learn the risks and potential rewards of self-funding and the key differences of self-funded plans from fully-insured plans. Additionally, attendees will learn about the different types of stop loss coverage and reinsurance contracts, and what types of pitfalls to avoid when self-funding. At the end of the seminar, participants will be able to determine whether self-funding is the right approach for their business. -"Communication and Conflict Resolution: Mastering the Key Skills for Working Effectively with Others" is a one-day course in which participants will learn how to build productive work relationships by utilizing effective communication skills and working toward collaboration. During the course, attendees will identify individual conflict triggers and strategies for avoiding conflict as well as discover strategies for working with difficult people and better managing responses.
