Mr. Clifford, a Raleigh native, has returned to North Carolina to continue pursuing his passion - defending those who have been entangled in the criminal justice system. A year after graduating from North Carolina State University, Mr. Clifford moved to Florida to attend the Florida State University School of Law. While in Florida, he gained experience in juvenile criminal defense through the Public Interest Law Center at Florida State University and served as Assistant Regional Counsel at the Office of Criminal Conflict and Civil Regional Counsel. As Assistant Regional Counsel, Mr. Clifford defended individuals facing a wide range of criminal charges - from traffic violations to more serious felonies that carried a mandatory life sentence if convicted.

DETROIT – A class of medications commonly prescribed to lower blood sugar in diabetic patients appears to protect them from developing heart failure, according to a study at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit.
