Covington Who's Who Selects Pat Huber as an Honored Member of the Executive and Professional Registry

The selection recognizes Pat Huber's commitment to excellence in Healthcare and Transcription.

2013-04-04
HOLLYWOOD, FL, April 04, 2013 (Press-News.org) Pat Huber, Owner of Med Data Transcription Service, has been selected as an Honored Member of the Covington Who's Who Executive and Professional Registry. The selection recognizes Pat Huber's commitment to excellence in Healthcare and Transcription.

Medical transcriptionist Pat Huber founded her medical transcription business in 1990 after completing intensive training in anatomy, physiology, pharmaceuticals, and listening skills. Her coursework taught her how to accurately document physicians' dictation of detailed office notes, consultations, letters, tests such as EEGs and EMGs, lab results, independent medical evaluations used in large legal cases, and procedure notes in a wide array of specialties.

"With the development of a much easier and more efficient way of record keeping with computers, the investment was made to make the job much easier for dictating and transcribing," Huber explained. "For those physicians who are not yet implanting EMR charting, my goal is to aid them in making a smooth transition to a user-friendly, affordable electronic medical record and be able to dictate as they are used to doing in order to have a complete narrative in each patient's medical record, while giving them more time in their busy workdays for other things."

Huber plans to work in the field for many more years. She looks forward to the ongoing advancements in technology and strives to continue providing accurate medical record keeping while freeing up physicians' very busy schedules.
