Local Benefits Consulting Firm Adds Three Benefits Analysts, An Underwriting Risk Analyst And A Triad Regional Manager

RESEARCH TRIANGLE PARK, NC, June 26, 2013 (Press-News.org) Hill, Chesson & Woody (HCW) (http://www.hcwbenefits.com), a health and welfare benefits brokerage and consulting firm that designs, manages and implements employee benefit programs, has announced that the firm has added five new hires, including three benefits analysts, an underwriting risk analyst and a Triad regional manager. With the addition of these most recent hires, HCW has grown to a total of 59 employees.

Courtney Crabtree has been named Triad regional manager, where she will be responsible for handling business development in Greensboro, High Point, Winston-Salem and surrounding communities, and approaching potential clients in the area to discuss how HCW's services assist in improving and implementing employee benefits programs. Crabtree has more than 10 years of professional experience in the real estate and interior design industries and has received three real estate sales awards for her work. She is involved in various volunteer groups and animal advocacy organizations. Crabtree attended Peace College, now known as William Peace University.

Megan Phelan has been named benefits analyst for the firm, where she will renew plans and cost summary exhibits for clients. She received her MBA and graduated cum laude from NC State University's Poole College of Management. Phelan held two internship positions the past two years at Northwestern Mutual and Merrill Lynch.

Alex Blomme has been named underwriting risk analyst for the firm. In this position, Blomme will perform risk analysis and present observations and recommendations to consultants during the renewal process. He earned a Bachelor of Science in mathematics as well as a Bachelor of Arts in linguistics from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.

Hunter Starr has joined the firm as a benefits analyst. In this position, Starr will be responsible for completing renewal plans and cost summary exhibits for clients. He recently graduated from East Carolina University, where he received a Bachelor of Science in business administration with a concentration in managerial finance. While in college, Starr held an internship position with Performance Technical Sales, Inc.

Tim Robinson has been named the firm's benefits analyst, where he will be completing renewal plans and cost summary exhibits for clients. Robinson recently graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where he received a Bachelor of Arts in political science and history and a minor in German.

HCW anticipates announcing more new hires later this year, as the firm plans to grow by 25 percent in 2013. In January, the firm moved into a new office in RTP, more than doubling its space. In addition to the RTP and Triad offices, HCW also has an office in Wilmington.
