LA's hot new eatery, Auntie's Fry Bread, to be featured at Gene Autry American Indian Arts Festival.

Gene Autry's American Indian Arts Festival has selected Auntie's Fry Bread, as it's premier prepared food vendor this year, the only place in LA to get real fresh made fry bread and fry bread/Indian Tacos.

2010-11-06
LOS ANGELES, CA, November 06, 2010 (Press-News.org) Auntie's Fry Bread is a new business born out of a lack of good Native American Fry Bread in the city of Los Angeles. Recent publicity in the LA Times seems to have propelled the awareness and buzz around the business and brought Auntie's into LA's prominent American Indian Arts Festival.

"The Autry's American Indian Arts Marketplace is an annual celebration of Native American art. This fun and entertaining weekend includes performances by local Native American musicians, story tellers, dancers, and actors as well as opportunities to sample a variety of Native American foods; participate in hands on craft activities; and view artist's demonstrations."

Auntie's Fry Bread is currently only open on Wednesday's at the Westwood Village Farmer's Market in addition to private events and catering, and this festival should be a great opportunity for other Angelino's to sample their fare.

Looks to be a great weekend event for the whole family filled with fun and fry bread! Admission is $12 for adults, $8 for students, and Children 9 and under are free.
