ISO 17025-Accredited Beta Analytic Joins AGU Fall Meeting as Exhibitor

MIAMI, FL, December 12, 2010 (Press-News.org) Beta Analytic, Inc. invites participants of the American Geophysical Union's Fall Meeting to visit the company's booth at the exhibit hall. Mr. Darden Hood, president of Beta Analytic, will be present at Booth 700 to meet existing clients and respond to inquiries regarding the company's services and radiocarbon dating in general.

The AGU Fall Meeting will be held at the Moscone Convention Center in San Francisco, California, from December 13 to December 17, 2010. Exhibits will start on December 14.

Several lectures will be available by webcast during the five-day event, most notable of which is a Science and Policy Union Lecture to be presented on December 13 by John P. Holdren at Marriott Marquis. Mr. Holdren is the Assistant to the President for Science and Technology and the Director of the Office of Science and Technology Policy Executive Office of the President of the United States.

The AGU Fall Meeting is expected to attract hundreds of geophysicists and researchers around the world. Representatives from the academe, government agencies, scientific societies, and research facilities will also be in attendance to join lectures covering various topics of the Earth and space sciences.

Established in 1919 as a committee within the National Research Council of the National Academy of Sciences, the American Geophysical Union is an international non-profit scientific association with more than 58,000 individual members from more than 135 countries. The organization aims to unite Earth, atmospheric, oceanic, hydrologic, space, and planetary scientists by providing a dynamic forum for the geophysical community. The AGU publishes scientific journals and other technical publications and sponsors scientific meetings and other educational activities.

Beta Analytic has joined several AGU meetings throughout the years. The company is the largest professional radiocarbon dating laboratory in the world.
