TOPANGA, CA, December 12, 2010 (Press-News.org) Linda Edgecombe, Professional Speaker and Best-Selling Author, has won the prestigious "2010 Speakers Hall of Fame Award," given out by the Canadian Association of Professional Speakers in Montreal, Quebec.

The Canadian Speaking Hall of Fame is comprised of individuals who have been recognized for their outstanding excellence as a professional speaker and dedication to the professional speaking industry by educating others to excel. Members are selected by their peers in recognition of their contributions.

"I am honored to have been chosen as one of the top speakers in the country. This has been an outstanding year for me with my newest book "BOOST, Powerful Tools to Re-energize and Re-engage You and Your Team in Crazy Times", and also co-authoring another book "Stepping Stones for Success"; turning 50 and now winning this amazing award. It is the icing on the cake!"

Edgecombe was chosen from a select group of talented Professional Speakers because of her excellence on stage, her success in business, her impact on clients and her contribution to her field. As one of 20 speakers in the country to hold this award and one of only four women, this is a true accomplishment.

The Wall Street Journal Quotes Linda as being an expert in "Shifting Peoples Perspective," on how they see and do their work in the United States. She is well know as an outrageously funny speaker and is a favorite On TV and Radio talk shows. Audiences learn from her second book "Boost," how easy it is to laugh on the outside while lightening up on the inside.
