Dallas Law Firm Skiermont Puckett Boosts Litigation, Technical Expertise

The Dallas-based high-stakes commercial trial law firm Skiermont Puckett is announcing the addition of accomplished litigation attorney Rajkumar "Kumar" Vinnakota.

DALLAS, TX, January 10, 2012 (Press-News.org) The Dallas-based high-stakes commercial trial law firm Skiermont Puckett is announcing the addition of accomplished litigation attorney Rajkumar "Kumar" Vinnakota.

A veteran of state and federal courts, Mr. Vinnakota has represented clients in a variety of intellectual property disputes, trade secrets cases, energy matters, business torts and insurance claims. He joins Skiermont Puckett as Counsel.

"Kumar has handled cases involving Global Positioning System technologies, streaming online video and DNA sequencing," says Paul J. Skiermont, co-founder of the firm. "His excellent track record and experience in patent infringement law, antitrust and unfair competition claims, and technology licensing will complement our work here significantly."

Firm co-founder Donald Puckett says Mr. Vinnakota's background and experience will benefit many Skiermont Puckett clients.

"Kumar has represented domestic and international clients in the chemical, biochemical, biotechnology, electronic and semi-conductor industries," Mr. Puckett says, adding that Mr. Vinnakota previously practiced at Andrews & Kurth LLP and Shore Chan Bragalone DePumpo LLP. "His diverse legal practice and firm grasp of current technologies will help our firm continue to deliver excellent value for clients."

Mr. Vinnakota's technical background includes work as a process engineer for ExxonMobil Chemical, and assisting in designing chemical plants on behalf of Kellogg Brown and Root in Houston.

Mr. Vinnakota earned his law degree in 2003 from the University of Texas School of Law, where he was Article and Notes Editor of the Texas International Law Journal. He graduated cum laude in 1998 from Texas A&M University, where he obtained a degree in chemical engineering in addition to completing graduate-level courses in biochemical and biomedical engineering.
