MMI Public Relations Wins Two International Academy Of Arts 2012 Communicator Awards

Local Public Relations Firm Receives Top Honors For 18th Annual Communicator Awards

RALEIGH, NC, June 22, 2012 (Press-News.org) Patty Briguglio, CEO of MMI Public Relations (http://www.mmipublicrelations.com), a full-service public relations firm, has announced that the firm has won two 2012 Communicator Awards from The International Academy of Arts for exhibiting innovative work that has made a lasting impact. The firm won an Award of Distinction for its work on a video project documenting the 2011 United Way Women's Leadership Council Girls Leadership Camp sponsored by Bayer CropScience. Highlighting the enthusiasm of the young campers, the video captures the mission of the camp to help young girls ages 11 through 15 realize their leadership potential and develop a project to give back to the Triangle community.

A second Award of Distinction was presented to the firm for its work on the grand opening video for The Chef's Academy, a video documenting the inaugural opening of the school's North Carolina Campus in September 2011. The video captured the excitement of the day, highlighting The Chef's Academy's partnership with the Food Bank of Central and Eastern North Carolina with a Triangle Chef Showdown. The Communicator Awards is the leading international awards program recognizing big ideas in marketing and communications. In its 18th season, it has grown to see more than 6,000 entries from all over the world.
