Port Charlotte's First Annual Poker run For Living well with MS Support Group Port Charlotte will be starting at Black Widow Harley-Davidson. Players will be stopping to get their other cards at Slip-Not Lounge, Tilly's Tap, the open Road Bar and Grill, Nav-a-Gator Grill, MS Rascals Loony Bin Eatery and finishing at Chubby'z tavern( Route subject to change). Free refreshments will be provide as well as music by DJ Happy Feet. Prize will be given for Best and Worst Hand. Games, prizes and more after the ride. Sponsors include Pepsi-Cola, Mc Donald's and Harley-Davidson. All proceeds will be benefitting the Multiple Sclerosis Foundation.

The senior management team at Truliant Federal Credit Union recently volunteered to help build a home with Habitat for Humanity of Forsyth County. The house was framed by the Career Center and then moved to its new location in the Trent Hill neighborhood. Habitat of Forsyth County has a partnership with the school system that enables students at the Career Center to learn while volunteers, like Truliant's team, help complete the home. In addition, Truliant also donated $1,000 to Habitat for Humanity.
