Logo Design Goes Green at LogoBee

LogoBee is pleased to announce the introduction of two initiatives which will work to benefit the environment. One will be of help to all their customers, and the other will be a great boon to one deserving company.

2010-10-10
MONTREAL, CANADA, October 10, 2010 (Press-News.org) LogoBee Logo Design launched brand-new green initiatives this past Wednesday, September 22, as part of the company's quest to take their sustainability a step further. The new initiatives creating a stir at LogoBee are all focused on sustainability, including a new content management system that will dramatically reduce paper use and a new contest offering free custom logo design and stationery design packages to environmental non-profits. LogoBee founder and president, Pavel Rohkmanko, explains, "We are eager to take a larger role in the global movement towards environmental sustainability, and these are our first steps to do that."

The brand-new content management system just launched at LogoBee eliminates the need for printed schedules, considerably reduces the design firm's paper use, and also allows the client to see the project's history without needing to save email history, or print emails and design samples. The new system has other benefits such as a custom message board for each client and project that allows LogoBee and the client to view a complete history of communication for the project, and avoids the pitfalls that make email unreliable, such as spam, firewalls, and returned message errors. "The new system will not only save paper, it will save LogoBee clients--and staff--many headaches," explains Logobee project coordinator, Jen Royce.

The second initiative LogoBee announced Wednesday is the new "eco" version of their highly successful annual Logo Design Makeover, which will award a free logo and stationery design package to one lucky winning entry. Any environmentally-concerned non-profit organization or charity may enter. While this is the first Logo Design Makeover contest that has been specific to the environment, LogoBee has been giving away free logo design packages to charities and non-profit organizations every year. Since holding the first contest in 2005, LogoBee has awarded 31 different non-profits with free custom logo designs.

In the new contest, a Golden package (value $425) with custom logo design and stationery design will be awarded to the winning entry. Any environmentally-concerned non-profit organization can enter, and as always, there is no fee to enter the contest. LogoBee designer, Brian Touchette, says, "we're excited to give back to these organizations that do so much to protect the environment and our future." The winning organization will be announced on LogoBee's website. LogoBee, a company that already recycles, reuses, scrap paper, and more, is excited to take their sustainability a step further with these new initiatives.

Award-winning online company LogoBee Logo Design has been offering professional services through their website, http://www.logobee.com, since 2000. The firm specializes in logo design for all types of businesses, but also offers stationery design, brochure and flier design, website design, and more.
