Local HR Management Firm Offers Training For Business Professionals

All courses will be held at CAI's Raleigh location at 2900 Highwoods Blvd. unless otherwise noted.-"Essentials of HR Certification Program" is a certification program that will teach participants the essential elements of the human resources function. Participants will discuss the fundamental regulatory and compliance knowledge that is needed to protect organizations. During the program participants will review hiring practices, new employee orientation, record keeping, how to handle and recognize discrimination, and much more. -"Tell It Like It Is: How Communication Can Help Improve Perceived Value and Control Your Healthcare Costs" is a three-hour interactive session focused on teaching attendees how to gauge employee opinions on benefits and build a communications strategy around that information. Attendees will learn about the latest benefit communication tools and determine which methods are most fitting for their message and employees. -"Workplace Laws for Managers and Supervisors" is a half-day course that will help participants better understand individual responsibilities relative to the numerous and confusing laws that govern the workplace. Participants will discuss strategies for understanding and complying with workplace laws such as those addressing sexual harassment, discrimination, civil rights, disabilities, labor relations and the Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA).
