John. Ms. John focuses her practice on civil litigation, health / hospital matters and insurance defense.

Ms. John earned her juris doctorate from University of Pittsburgh School of Law in 2002. Following graduation, she served as a law clerk for the late Honorable Mark E. Mascara, Judge of the Court of Common Pleas of Washington County, Pa. Previously a lawyer with the Allegheny County Office of the Public Defender in Pennsylvania, she also worked as an attorney case manager for the Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) of Allegheny County, where she advocated on behalf of abused and neglected children.

In 2008, Ms. John earned a Master of Science in school psychology from California University of Pennsylvania, graduating magna cum laude. She also earned a full-tuition waiver and stipend to attend West Virginia University's Robert C. Byrd Health Sciences Center, where she completed a year of study in the biomedical sciences research and graduate education program.

Ms. John has served as a faculty member for the Pennsylvania Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers, the Public Defender Association of Pennsylvania and the Juvenile Defenders Association of Pennsylvania. She is currently an adjunct faculty member at the Community College of Allegheny County, where she teaches classes in the business law / paralegal program.
