RALEIGH, NC, November 30, 2012 (Press-News.org) Horizon Forest Products is pleased to announce the opening of its newest branch in Charlotte, North Carolina. The facility, located at 227 Olympic Street, occupies 25,000 square feet and will serve hardwood customers in the state's largest city, as well as the outlying areas.
JD Ziegelhofer is the Charlotte Branch Manager and also serves as branch manager for the Greensboro branch. He has been with Horizon Forest Products for ten years and says that the time was right to open a branch in Charlotte.
"We had previously been serving Charlotte customers out of our Greensboro branch," explains Ziegelhofer. "Because Charlotte is such a fast-growing area, we felt that the demand and need were there to justify opening a branch that could better serve these customers. We are excited to finally have a branch in the great city of Charlotte and look forward to offering the same great level of service and products that the community has come to expect from Horizon Forest Products."
Horizon Forest Products employs over 100 people and operates in four states: North Carolina, South Carolina, Maryland, and Virginia. The Charlotte location brings the total number of company branches to ten and will offer all of the hardwood flooring products and sanding/finishing products that the company currently carries in all of its branches. Ziegelhofer says that the company is always looking for opportunities to expand into other regions and states in order to help make customers' lives easier providing what they need and having it to them when they need it.
"This is an exciting time for our company," says Ziegelhofer. "We really feel that the time is right for us to move forward on our expansion plans. We have great people in our company and are always looking for ways to help them pursue new opportunities."
