Pasternack Enterprises Expands Line of Schottky Diode Detectors

Schottky Diode Detectors Up to 26 GHz New from Pasternack

2012-12-14
IRVINE, CA, December 14, 2012 (Press-News.org) Pasternack Enterprises, Inc., a leading ISO 9001:2008 manufacturer and global supplier of RF and microwave products, announces the expansion of their line of Schottky diode detectors. RF detectors from Pasternack are coaxial components that convert the input RF signal strength into proportional DC voltage at its output, also referred to as "video out".

Pasternack Enterprises' positive-biased Schottky detectors offer varying operating frequencies ranging from 500 MHz to 26 GHz and are available with SMA connectors. This line of biased detectors has a RF signal threshold (tangential sensitivity or TSS) of -54 dBm to -52 dBm. Each of the 50 Ohm RF detectors has an operating temperature rating between -55 degrees to +125 degrees Celsius (C) ensuring reliability under extreme conditions.

The expanding line of Schottky detectors from Pasternack includes nine new part numbers, each with varying RF capabilities and specifications. Schottky diode detectors are highly sensitive and have extremely flat response, making them ideal for RF power monitoring of remote transmitters and for use in a lab environment. These hermetically sealed detectors also have low video output resistance, typically around 350 Ohms. Each new RF/microwave Schottky detector from Pasternack is REACH and RoHS compliant.

"Our newly expanded lines of Schottky diode detectors is a great addition to our growing line of microwave components," says Gerry Camacho, VP of Technical Services at Pasternack Enterprises, Inc. "This new line of Schottky detectors expands Pasternack's product line to address increasing customer demands for higher frequency components."

The new Schottky diode detectors from Pasternack are available now. View the new RF coax detectors with accompanying detailed specifications on Pasternack's website or by visiting http://www.pasternack.com/biased-schottky-diode-detectors-category.aspx directly. Pasternack Enterprises, Inc. can be contacted at +1-949-261-1920.

A leader in RF cables, adapters and connectors since 1972, Pasternack Enterprises is an ISO 9001:2008 certified manufacturer and international supplier of one of the largest inventories of standard and same day custom made RF, microwave and fiber optic products. Pasternack is committed to same day build and ship of common and obscure cables, adapters, connectors and accessories for use in fiber optic, microwave, millimeter wave, radio frequency and other uses.
