MESA, AZ, December 29, 2012 (Press-News.org) Healthland Explorer, a distributor of Thermotex Heat Therapy Systems, suggests that you ask your physician about the many health benefits of far infrared heat treatment.
The Thermotex Heat Therapy Systems are indicated for the temporary relief of minor muscle and joint pain and stiffness; the temporary relief of joint pain associated with arthritis, muscle spasms, minor strains and sprains and minor muscular back pain; muscular relaxation; and the temporary increase of local circulation where applied.
Thermotex far infrared heating pads for pain relief are available at http://www.farinfrared-painrelief.com for delivery anywhere in the USA, Canada, and worldwide.
Medical researchers have reported over 90% success in a summary of Chinese studies that assessed the effect of far infrared therapy on: soft tissue injury, lumbar strain, periarthritis of the shoulder, sciatica, pain during menstruation, neurodermatitis, eczema with infection, post-surgical infections, facial paralysis, diarrhea, cholecystitis, neurasthenia, pelvic infection, pediatric pneumonia, tineas, and frostbite with inflammation.
The following desirable far infrared therapeutic effects are summarized in Justus F. Lehman, M.D.'s book Therapeutic Heat and Cold:
1. Infrared heat increases the extensibility of collagen tissues, which are the protein that makes up connective tissues such as tendons and ligaments. Far infrared treatment would be especially valuable in working with ligaments, joint capsules, tendons, fasciae, and synovium that have become scarred, thickened or contracted.
2. Infrared heat increases blood flow. Heating of muscles produces an increased blood flow level similar to that seen during exercise.
3. Infrared healing is now becoming the leading treatment for soft tissue injuries to promote both relief in chronic and intractable "permanent" cases, and accelerated healing in newer injuries.
4. Infrared heat assists in resolution of inflammatory infiltrates, edema and exudates. Increased peripheral circulation provides the transport needed to help evacuate edema, which can help inflammation, decrease pain, and help speed healing.
Edema is the presence of an excessive amount of fluid in or around cells, tissues or serous cavities of the body. Inflammatory infiltrate consists of white blood cells which leave the blood and enter (infiltrate) the inflamed connective tissue. Exudate is a fluid with a high content of protein and cellular debris which has escaped from blood vessels and has been deposited in tissues or on tissue surfaces, usually as a result of inflammation.
5. Research by the National Cancer Institute has recently discovered that infrared heat is a promising cancer therapy, but the Food and Drug Administration has not yet approved infrared therapy for cancer care.
