TROY, MI, February 02, 2013 (Press-News.org) The documentary tells the story of Ray Weathers and his tumultuous journey to becoming the first person out of Jackson, MI to have ever played in an NBA game. Later, Ray was able to host basketball camps in the community that changed the fortunes of many in the Jackson community. The documentary features Tom Izzo, Steve Smith, Jimmy King, Cedric Ceballos, Shane Battier, Jack Ebling, and Mateen Cleaves giving their testimony on how Ray Weathers contributed to their personal lives and their careers. Musical guests Outer Sound will close out the evening with a concert featuring songs used in the documentary including the hit single The Love.
