Austin's Leslie Ritchie Robnett is featured on the cover of the Texas Rising Stars edition of Super Lawyers with a profile that explores her legal legacy going back six generations. Her great-great-great grandfather, John Preston White, was a charter judge of the Texas Court of Appeals in 1876 who later became chief judge. The story also details how Ms. Robnett was the first woman in her family to go to law school, and includes a story about being the only woman at Gardere's biennial pheasant hunt. Ms. Robnett said her father advised her to remember to "keep [her] gun barrel up and not shoot any clients."

Texas Rising Stars honorees are selected based on nominations by members of the elite Texas Super Lawyers list and represent the top up-and-coming Texas attorneys age 40 or younger and those who have been in practice for less than 10 years. Overall, less than 2.5 percent of Texas attorneys were chosen for this honor. The complete Texas Rising Stars list appears on Superlawyers.com and will be included in the April 2013 issues of Texas Monthly and Texas Rising Stars magazines.
