Canada's Mushy Callahan Brings Its Unique Neo-Vintage Rock Blend to the U.K.

This tour will mark Mushy Callahan's first international appearance after a successful release of the EP 'Man on the Run'. The Band plans to tour the United Kingdom and and is one of the few Canadian and international bands to be featured in the FOCUS WALES Festival. Mushy Callahan will also play shows with the likes of Charlotte Church, Gulp, Man Without Country, Phoenix Club, Beutons, The Dukes and We Could Be Astronauts.

The tour comes in anticipation of the band's first full length album which is expected to be released in the second half of the year. It also follows the recently released music video for the single 'Shot Down' from the EP 'Man on the Run,' that featured local celebrity Tom Hayes. Mushy Callahan has garnered local buzz after performing at Toronto, Canada's most popular music festivals including Edgfest 2012, North by Northeast (NXNE), Canadian Music Week and Indie Music Week. Dave "Bookie" Bookman from Toronto's most popular rock radio station, Edge 102.1, talked enthusiastically about the band saying, "these guys can play... a real technical prowess with a real passion."

Mushy Callahan will be available to share the band's story of four brothers moving from a small farming town in Alberta to Toronto, Canada's largest city, to pursue their musical careers.

About Mushy Callahan:
Incredible lyrics, powerful multi-vocal harmonies, beefy bass riffs, arena-quality guitar solos, and layered musical touches are all characteristic of the classic rock band, Mushy Callahan. This band, made up of four very talented brothers, has already been awarded many honors, including winning The Edge 102.1 indie band of the month. They have also made an appearance at Edgefest 2012 along big names such as The Sheepdogs, Silversun Pickups, Billy Talent, and Yukon Blonde. Their video "Shot Down" also debuted in the top of the Aux.TV charts.

The musicians in Mushy Callahan are all Alberta Natives who moved to Toronto. Thus far, they have released their debut EP entitled "Man On The Run," which is an incredible mix of classic and indie rock, a unique flavor of music that they have become known for.
