Benita Tankard- Nichols Launches Online Ministry

GOODLETTSVILLE, TN, April 21, 2013 (Press-News.org) After an extensive absence from the music industry as promoter of best-selling gospel-jazz recording artist and ex-husband, Ben Tankard and gospel diva, Yolanda Adams and others, Ms. Tankard-Nichols chose to keep a low profile by using the name Benita Savage Nichols to keep in touch with her family, friends, and associates in the gospel music industry and film biz.

According to Ms. Tankard-Nichols, the organization exists for the healing, restoration, and salvation of God's people. She states, "We are a catalyst for end time Revival throughout the Nations of the World." Her new online organization uses social networking and digital media to reach out to leaders in the religious sector and market place. Her parents and grandparents, who served in education and ministry, invested time, money and energy in the communities in which they lived. They carried words of hope and were catalyst for change on issues of segregation, women in ministry rights, the parents-teacher cooperative, family development and community empowerment. Crossing the racial, social-economic barriers, they reached out and impacted the communities where they lived.
During her employment at American Baptist College under the leadership of civil rights leader, Dr. Bernard Lafayette, II, of the Center for Nonviolence, Tankard-Nichols developed a commitment to defending the marginalized and disenfranchised.
