DOVER, DE, April 23, 2013 (Press-News.org) In his upcoming album, The Art of Letting Go, singer-songwriter Jeremy Bursich explores the depth, complexity, and nuances of vulnerability and human emotion. Reflecting on past experiences with addiction, abuse, and loss, he delivers a carefully constructed storyline through his genre bending acoustic stylings and masterful lyricism. This Dover, Delaware native has developed a devoted fan base within his local music community for which he has provided monthly open mics of growing popularity; and wherein his first installment, The Dark Years, was well received. Bursich is set to release his sophomore album on May 1, 2013. A limited number of physical copies of the album will be available at Dover Newsstand and Cafe. You can also purchase the digital copy through iTunes, Amazon, or his website, http://www.jeremybursich.com.
"Jeremy's approach to songwriting is exactly what songwriting should be about. This simplicity of the arrangement is what let's his story come thru...on each track, uncluttered and honest. "Letting Go" is as hauntingly represented as the title suggest it should be. You want to start the song right after it ends to listen for the story between the lines again...and again. Great job, good and subtle use of effects, on both vocals and guitar."
Jim Rezac
"Bursich's title track, "Letting Go" is a brooding song, with the bright, clean sound of his guitar contrasting with his haunting vocals." - Jessica Graae
