On Sunday, May 12, Figue will host a three-course lunch served from 11 a.m. until 3 p.m. and a Mother's Day Dinner served from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. The price is $45 per adult and $18 per child. All mothers will receive a complimentary flower as a special gift and a special Mother's Day champagne cocktail.
The first course offers a choice of Kibbe with Lebanese Spiced Lamb and Bulgur Wheat Meatballs, Cucumber Salad and Hummus, along with several other tasty selections including Diver Sea Scallops, Plancha Scallops, Zucchini 'Spaghetti' and Saffron Carrot Sauce or Baked Figs and Prosciutto, House Made Yogurt Cheese, Lavender Honey and Pistachios.
The second course features a choice of Figue favorites such as Chicken Tagine with spit roasted Chicken, Ratatouille and Chickpea Frites; Filet of Beef with Potato Puree, Baby Carrots, Crunchy Aleppo Shallots and Cabernet Sauce; Gnocchi Tocco Di Carne with Potato Dumplings, Pork and Porcini Sauce or Elysian Fields Leg of Lamb with Potato Gratin and Broccoli Rabe. During lunch. Figue will also serve a delightful Crab Cake Benedict with Poached Eggs and Chive Hollandaise.
The third course will offer delicious desserts including Maman's Warm AppleTart with Caramelized Apples and Vanilla Bean Sauce; Marcona Chocolate Bombe with Valrhona Chocolate Mousse and Toasted Almonds, or Pistachio Oil and Fig Cake with 'Spice Road Caravan' Figs and Pomegranate Sorbet.
