Renaissance St. Louis Airport Sponsors "Float for Hope" Fundraiser

Renaissance St. Louis Airport Hotel will launch a 120 mile fundraising expedition on the Missouri River on June 13, 2013, to raise money for Give Kids the World, a nonprofit for children with life-threatening illnesses and their families.

LOUIS, MO, April 24, 2013 (Press-News.org) Renaissance St. Louis Airport Hotel will launch a 120 mile fundraising expedition on the Missouri River on June 13, 2013, to raise money for Give Kids the World, a nonprofit for children with life-threatening illnesses and their families. The hotel staff will build a replica of a Lewis and Clark style flat bottom boat that will travel from the current Missouri capital in Jefferson City to the original Missouri capital in St. Charles. The launch will be at 1 p.m. from the Noren Access Boat Ramp adjacent to downtown Jefferson City, following a fundraising Ice Cream Social event at 12pm. Patrick Lupsha, COO of Davidson Hotels & Resorts, the hotel's management company, and the leadership team from the hotel will be navigating the trip. After the expedition concludes Friday, June 14 in St. Charles, at Bishops Landing, adjacent to Historic Boathouse, there will be a "Welcome Home" event at the Renaissance St. Louis Airport Hotel from at 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. that will include the auctioning of the boat.
