EDINBURGH, SCOTLAND, April 25, 2013 (Press-News.org) CEO of Avant Garde Ideals Paul Weston delivered a speech on April 20th 2013 to an audience of small business owners and industry experts at a seminar Birmingham. As a small business owner himself, Paul Weston feels that it is important to help others owners when the opportunity arises. Avant Garde Ideals is a young company which specialises in outsourced event face-to-face sales and marketing for clients has experienced great success and rapid growth since its inception in June 2012. Avant Garde Ideals started out in Southampton with a small number of independent sales advisors and has since expanded in size and location to Edinburgh where in the past 6 weeks it has continued to perform well for its clients, helping them to grow by acquiring new customers for their businesses.
Paul Weston credited Avant Garde Ideals' success to the company's ethos which is to focus on quality rather than quantity. This approach applies to various areas of Avant Garde Ideals, including attracting and retaining a smaller but quality team of high-performing sales advisors who work at the daily retail events. In his speech, Paul Weston highlighted the importance of retaining people - a vital activity for any small business.
Weston has implemented a multiple- stage training programme which aims to shape the best sales advisors. The criteria-based programme develops Avant Garde Ideals' individuals' sales skills, knowledge and confidence with the public which in turn helps to retain individuals by providing them with constant challenges and motivation to succeed and progress rapidly. Paul Weston stated that "short term goals in particular can be attacked by individual advisors with more intensity and allow them to see their progression over time as they develop and progress through the programme".
Additionally, Paul Weston believes that in sharing his own personal goals, as a business owner, contributes to Avant Garde Ideals' team environment. Weston believes that he gains the commitment of his team through sharing his ambitions and in return they get an insight into his vision for the future and the role they will play in helping to achieve it.
The seminar audience of over 150 people was left with a lot to think about as they heard from two other successful small business owners as well as Paul Weston, who both shared their knowledge and experience including the highs and lows of starting up their own business.
We are Avant Garde Ideals, the recognized leader in outsourced sales services from Hampshire to Edinburgh. From our humble beginnings to garnering a reputation as the leader in outsourced event sales and marketing, Avant Garde Ideals has come a long way. We've done this by having exceptional event sales professionals and providing our clients with proven sales and marketing strategies that get results.
