Unique Indoor Cycle Rocks At FIBO 2013

Relay Fitness Group exhibited the Evo Fitness Bike at FIBO in Cologne, Germany in April. The unique indoor cycle features a sway frame that literally rocks with the movement of riders, accurately mimicking the natural motion of pedaling a bicycle.

2013-04-25
COSTA MESA, CA, April 25, 2013 (Press-News.org) During April 2013, Relay Fitness Group exhibited the Evo Fitness Bike at FIBO 2013, the largest international commercial fitness equipment trade show in the world. In addition to exhibiting the Evo Fitness Bike, a new type of indoor cycle that features a sway frame and patent-pending beltless, chainless gear drive, the company's head trainer Jack Nunn, was on hand demonstrating the unique workout potential of the indoor cycle.

"A ton of people saw what makes the Evo Fitness Bike special at FIBO thanks to Jack Nunn," said Marko Vujicic CEO of Relay Fitness Group. "When he got the bike rocking, everybody around paid attention; when the Evo Fitness Bike is combined with Jack Nunn's TriCore Indoor Cycling program, it's hard to find a better workout."

The Relay Fitness Group booth was one of the largest exhibit spaces in the show and featured over a dozen demonstration bikes, including the light commercial Evo ix model and the full commercial Evo cx model. Jack Nunn performed several indoor cycle workouts each day.

Jack Nunn developed TriCore Indoor Cycling to take advantage of the Evo Fitness Bike's sway frame. The rocking motion of the indoor cycle offered Jack, an avid triathlete and Iron Man competitor, the opportunity to safely train for competition while also giving him the natural feel of an outdoor cycle. He used his competitive experience and the sway motion of the bike to create a new certification (to be approved as continuing education by AFAA in mid-2013) and workout DVD called TriCore Indoor Cycling released in 2012.

Unlike typical indoor cycles, the Evo Fitness Bike's frame rocks like a real bicycle. Whether you realize it or not, your core muscles and upper body are used when you ride a bike outdoors. They help to stabilize and balance your body while you pedal. Cycling professionals are able to use this rocking motion to counter-sway the bike, throwing more power into the pedals when they climb hills or perform all-out sprints. To see this motion, simply watch the next Tour de France and pay attention to how their bikes move when they stand.

"The people at FIBO 2013 responded very positively to the Evo Fitness Bike's sway capability," stated Marko Vujicic, CEO of Relay Fitness Group. "I think the international fitness community really appreciates innovations like those we presented at the show."

The full commercial Evo cx and light commercial Evo ix models are available through the Relay Fitness Group's dealer network. For additional information about the Evo Fitness Bike or Relay Fitness Group, visit http://www.relayfitness.com.

It was with these problems in mind that manufacturers approached TMI, a PVC manufacturer and extruder. TMI then modified the chemistry ...
