IOMIC Picks up its 16th Tour Victory of the Season With a Win at The Japan Golf Tour Token Homemate Cup

"This was the first event of this season for the Japan Golf Tour and we are pleased that the winner was using IOMIC grips," stated Katz Murai, Overseas Division of IOMIC.

2013-04-27
SANTA ANA, CA, April 27, 2013 (Press-News.org) IOMIC USA, manufacturer of innovative, revolutionary and dynamically designed grips, announced today that the winner of the Japan Golf Tour Token Homemate Cup used IOMIC grips. Two top-10 finishers at the PGA Heritage and three top-10 finishers at the LPGA Lotte Championship also used IOMIC grips.

"This has been an outstanding year for IOMIC grips on the worldwide tours. This was the first event of this season for the Japan Golf Tour and we are pleased that the winner was using IOMIC grips. We appreciate the tour players who understand the performance benefits of using IOMIC grips week after week and look forward to more successes throughout the year," stated Katz Murai, Overseas Division of IOMIC.

The winner of the Token Homemate Cup won by 2 strokes to claim his fourth victory on the Japan Tour. He was using IOMIC Sticky Mid grips. The Sticky Mid grip is part of the popular Sticky grip series and fits in between the Sticky Jumbo and Sticky 2.3 grip sizes. It features an eco-friendly design that consists of two layers of materials: a firm inner core made from recycled IOMIC grips and a soft surface layer made with the company's proprietary IOMAX material.

The two top-10 finishers at the Heritage both used IOMIC Sticky 2.3 grips. According to Murai, "When faced with challenging playing conditions, it's even more important than ever for golfers to have complete confidence and control during every swing. Our grips provide great feel and control which was especially helpful when battling the strong, gusty winds experienced at the Heritage."

The three top-10 finishers at the Lotte Championship used a variety of IOMIC grips in vivid colors. One finisher used lavender Sticky 2.3 grips on her way to a top-ten finish, while two other top-ten finishers used Art Grip Sticky Opus1 and Art Grip Sticky Opus3 grips in assorted colors.

IOMIC Sticky grips are incredibly soft, and feature great traction and low torque. These versatile grips are suitable for all playing styles, from beginners to top ranked tour professionals. The Sticky 2.3 is the standard size grip in the Sticky series and is available in a wide variety of colors.

IOMIC Art Grip Sticky Opus grips are manufactured using IOMIC's special marble coloring process to create a stylish, fresh new look. Sticky grips are incredibly soft, and feature great traction and low torque. These grips are available in a wide variety of colors and are suitable for all playing styles, from beginners to top ranked tour professionals.

All IOMIC grips feature the revolutionary "IOMAX" technology, a proprietary compound that provides a soft feel with control. This material provides adhesiveness, is water and friction resistant and is naturally white in color which allows for a full spectrum of color - IOMIC's signature trait.
