Two RFX, Inc. Employees Become Certified Transportation Brokers Through TIA
2013-04-28
AVON, MA, April 28, 2013 (Press-News.org) The Certified Transportation Broker program involves rigorous training on an extensive amount of study material. The program began in 1986 to increase the integrity and professionalism of property brokers significantly. The program is used to test and increase the knowledge of students in regards to the latest trends in transportation and business management as well as brokerage, pricing, ethics, contracting, legal and regulatory requirements.

Two of the recent graduates from this prestigious program are both employees of RFX, Inc. Caroline Johnson is a safety and claims manager and Lynne Parsons is the Chief Financial Officer for the company. Both of these employees took on the challenge of the CTB program from the Transportation Intermediaries Association and were successful in their endeavors. Both of these recent graduates were required to have a minimum of one year of experience working as a broker and earn a minimum of five candidate points which are based on education and professional experience. These requirements are essential to begin training for the CTB exam.

The TIA offers a home study course for the CTB program online that lasts up to 17 weeks. This course helps to prepare students to take the CTB examination which is also sponsored by the TIA. Since the implementation of the program, more than 1,600 students have become designated Certified Transportation Brokers which goes to show how sought after this official designation is.

RFX, Inc. is extremely proud to have two more employees earn the designation of becoming Certified Transportation Brokers and wishes both of them much ongoing success as they move forward with the company.
