NEW YORK, NY, April 28, 2013 (Press-News.org) The stress of moving into a new home just decreased for residents of the Tucson Metropolitan Area. Unpakt, a comparison pricing site and online booking tool for consumers searching for a moving company, just launched in the Tucson, Arizona market and is taking the headache out of moving for Tucson residents.
Unpakt is a one-of-a-kind platform that enables Tucson-Area residents to plan a simple home inventory, compare competitive price quotes from Tucson-Area movers, and then book the move with the click of a button.
Similar to what sites such as Kayak or Expedia have done for the travel industry, Unpakt brings transparency to the moving industry by offering consumers access to pre-screened movers, consumer reviews and exact prices rather than estimates all in one easy-to-use platform.
"First class movers from the greater Tucson area joined Unpakt to offer their services through a clear-cut online format," said Sharone Ben-Harosh, founder of Unpakt. "Moving does not have to be as complicated and stressful as it has felt to consumers in the past, which is why Unpakt aims to make the moving process simple and painless for Tucson residents."
The Unpakt business model also helps local Tucson moving companies grow their business through access to marketing tools and increased visibility. Licenses, insurance, association memberships and previous user feedback are all taken into consideration before a mover is accepted to Unpakt. Unpakt's Tucson mover partners include:
• Abba & Sons Moving
• 3 Gorillas Moving & Storage
• Bekins Moving Solutions
Additional Unpakt services include the ability to hire a chosen mover to pack or unpack one's belongings, request custom packing containers for antiques or fine art, and the option to have a moving professional from multiple companies visit your home to conduct an in-home consultation of possessions.
Created by entrepreneur Sharone Ben-Harosh, the founder of FlatRate Moving , Unpakt has launched in major cities across the country, with plans to expand its database to 3,000 movers in the top 200 U.S. cities and 2,000 movers in the top 100 international cities.
