ATLANTA, GA, April 29, 2013 (Press-News.org) The Shepherd Center's Reasons Campaign encourages all drivers to "Arrive Safe, Don't Drive Distracted," at all times, but particularly now during Distracted Driving Awareness Month
(Atlanta, GA) The Atlanta personal injury law firm of Butler, Wooten & Fryhofer, through its injury prevention partnership with the Shepherd Center, encourages all drivers to remember to focus on the road during Distracted Driving Awareness Month and throughout the year. Butler, Wooten & Fryhofer are proud to co-sponsor the Shepherd Center's Reasons Campaign.
While many campaigns to stop dangerous, distracted driving have focused on statistics related to serious and fatal accidents caused by a texting driver, the Reasons campaign encourages everyone to think of why it is important to arrive safely at their own destination. Whether it's something big, like a high school graduation, or something small like a favorite tv show, it is your reason to drive to and arrive safely at your destination.
"It may be fresh-baked chocolate chip cookies. It may be snuggle time with your kids. It might even be Taco Tuesdays. Regardless, the message is a very personal one," explained the Shepherd Center's Director of Injury Prevention, Bridget Metzger. Everyone is invited to share their own reason to stay focused on the road and personalize the campaign on The Shepherd Center's Facebook page.
The Shepherd Center is a private hospital located in Atlanta, Georgia, that offers specialized treatment for those with spinal cord injuries and brain injuries. It is ranked among the top 10 rehabilitation hospitals in the United States, according to US News & World Report.
Butler, Wooten & Fryhofer, along with The Shepherd Center, has seen the devastating effects of distracted driving that has resulted in a serious motor vehicle accident. These accidents and injuries are 100 percent preventable. The firm hopes to protect Georgia families from the tragedy caused by distracted driving through its injury-prevention partnership with The Shepherd Center.
Since 1988, the Georgia-based law firm of Butler, Wooten & Fryhofer LLP has been helping individuals and families throughout the United States pursue full and fair compensation when the negligence or intentional act of another results in serious injury. 2013-04-29

Also known as a qui tam action, which loosely translates from Latin to "[H]e who brings a case on behalf of our lord the King, as well as for himself," a False Claims Act lawsuit may proceed with or without the assistance of the government. The Department of Justice (DOJ) can choose to intervene in a whistleblower lawsuit ...
