Relay for Life fundraiser at Walter Reed middle school benefits the American Cancer Society

VENTNOR, NJ, May 04, 2013 (Press-News.org) The American Cancer Society's Relay For Life is a life-changing event that helps each community celebrate the lives of people who have battled cancer, remember loved ones lost, and fight back against the disease. On May 18th, 2013 Cindy Margolis and Rob Ballesteros will host the Relay for Life, Studio City/North Hollywood event at Walter Reed Middle School in Ca. . While the American Cancer Society is making progress toward a future without cancer, only with dedication and fundraising efforts can the world's largest fight for more birthdays continue. With donations and (missing a word) help, the ACS isn't just fighting one type of cancer - they are fighting for every birthday threatened by every cancer in every community. Each person who shares in the Relay experience can take pride in knowing that they are working to create a world where this disease will no longer threaten our loved ones or rob anyone of another birthday.

Relay for Life is an amazing organized community fundraising event Team members camp out around the track while individual team members take turns walking the track. Food, games and activities provide entertainment and build camaraderie while creating a family-friendly environment for the entire community. A highlight of the event is the "Survivors Lap", in which all cancer survivors in attendance take the first lap around the track to celebrate their victory over cancer.

There will be plenty of live entertainment and celebs in attendance and a Red Carpet hosted by Cindy Margolis and event organizer Rob Ballesteros. Performances by Lawrence Duff (Glee), YLA (Keeping up with the Kardashians), Rotini, Mother Rose, Michelle Anderson, Derek Jamison, Jay Sangz, DJ Sachi Lee and the hot new boy band, Infinity. Fitness guru Mike O Hearn will be doing an instructional boot camp in the morning.
