Female "Wardroids" Invade The Solar System

Author J M Filipowicz's new science fiction novel touches on gender issues

BURLINGTON, ON, May 04, 2013 (Press-News.org) Author J M Filipowicz announces the release of her first novel, Wardroids, published by Double Dragon Publishing. Fifty years after a devastating interplanetary war, the wardroid soldier drones who won for the allies have been retrofitted into female sex slaves. When the droids organize and attempt to take over, a rundown old space-mining ship gets caught in the action. Emily Reid, the only woman serving aboard the Destiny, must choose which side she's on.

"My goal in writing Wardroids was first and foremost to create a book that was fun to read," says Filipowicz. "I wanted to touch on male-female dynamics in an entertaining way."
