INDIANAPOLIS, IN, October 30, 2010 (Press-News.org) Alliance Cost Containment (ACC), a national cost management company, today announced the opening of a new office in Indianapolis. ACC works closely with businesses and non-profit organizations to deliver significant reductions in their operating expenses.
ACC uses a proven, proprietary methodology to review costs, negotiate with suppliers, and implement the savings. In addition, ACC is only paid when it saves money for a client, meaning that all work is done on a contingent fee, gain-sharing basis. Having served more than 1,000 clients since 1992, ACC now has 43 offices throughout the United States and Mexico.
The new ACC office is owned and operated by Barry Johnson. Barry's professional background includes over 25 years of operational leadership experience with leading global companies. He held senior level positions in Corporate Finance, Operations and Marketing with NCR, Gateway Computers, Motorola and Thomson/RCA. He has extensive experience in driving continuous improvement methodologies across operational processes. Barry has a Six Sigma certification including LEAN and Design for Six Sigma designations. He is also a Certified Management Accountant (CMA).
Barry has a B.A. in Economics from Hanover College and an MBA in Finance from Indiana University. He has also completed coursework at the Stanford University Center for Professional Development.
"We are experiencing very strong demand for our cost containment services in this difficult economic environment and we are very excited to expand our presence in Indiana" said Miles Lee, President of Alliance Cost Containment. "Our strong and expanding portfolio of procurement programs and services as well as our proven process methodologies are driving our successful growth. We are very pleased to add such a talented executive as Barry Johnson to the ACC team to help us extend this growth."
"I am thrilled to be part of the dynamic Alliance Cost Containment team," said Johnson. "In these turbulent economic times, every company is searching for more ways to trim costs and many are finding that simply cutting employees is not the answer. ACC provides expertise in an area that is often overlooked but can provide significant bottom-line improvements. Because we focus specifically on indirect expenses, we have a wealth of knowledge about the "best practices" and emerging trends across the industry. We use this expertise to deliver significant and sustainable improvements for clients. I look forward to having the opportunity to deliver ACC's innovative programs to Indiana area companies."
