RAVE Computer to Highlight Rugged Notebook and Tablet PCs at Milcom 2010

STERLING HEIGHTS, MI, October 30, 2010 (Press-News.org) RAVE Computer, a leader in providing standard and customized computing solutions, is scheduled to display GammaTech rugged products at MILCOM 2010. The three models to be shown are built to Military Standards for drop, shock, spill, and dust protection. The 13.3Ó fully rugged R13S notebook with magnesium-encased design offers ultimate flexibility and functionality, as well as maximum mobility. With its convertible sunlight readable LCD, it transforms quickly and easily to a tablet PC. It is built so that the screen is viewable in any light level. Operating in temperature extremes ranging from -4-degrees F to 122-degress F, it is the perfect choice for mobile rugged computer users working in harsh environments. As with all GammaTech rugged notebooks, the R13S is listed in EPEAT for environmental performance.

The 14.1Ó rugged D14RM notebook is designed for mobile road warriors who need functionality and durability. It is powered by Intel Montevina technology providing performance boost. Standard features include a Smart Card Reader, Fingerprint Scanner, 4 USB ports, and an HDMI port. It has an environmental performance green rating of EPEAT Silver¨.

The 10.2Ó fully rugged RT10 series of tablet PCs with a 2.5Ó SATA hard disk are built to meet the mobile demands of true on-the-job portable computer users. They are designed for anywhere the work environment demands a reliable and tough computing solution. The 10.2Ó touch-screen display is ideal for computing on the go.
