OVERLAND PARK, KS, May 10, 2013 (Press-News.org) In December of 2012, Waters Davidson Dentistry in Olathe, KS became the first dental office in Olathe to begin using the new 3M True Definition Scanner to build 3D impressions of their patients' mouths. In the past, having a dentist take impressions was a long, uncomfortable and messy process, but this groundbreaking new scanner has turned this family-friendly dentistry office into Olathe's premier destination for all kinds of general and cosmetic dental care.
When asked about the new 3M imaging technology, Mark Farmer, president of 3M ESPE said, "Digital impressions bring improved productivity, better oral care and ultimately a better patient experience. We believe those benefits should be within reach for every dental practice." And the practitioners of Waters Davidson Dentistry couldn't agree more.
"We want to offer our patients the best, most relaxing dental service imaginable," said Dr. Davidson, of the Olathe dentist group. "Instead of making our patients sit uncomfortably still for long periods of time like in the past, we are able to take breaks and pick up where we left off in the 3D imaging process. I don't know of any other dentists in Olathe that can offer such an easy and comfortable patient experience."
While there is not a shortage of dentists in Olathe, there are none who have invested in new technology the way Waters Davidson Dentistry has. And their patients are grateful for the quality of the services they receive.
"I've actually really enjoyed the new 3D imaging process, especially compared to how it used to be," said one patient of Dr. Davidson's. "My previous Olathe dentist didn't have this kind of service available, so it was a no brainer for me to change things up and begin seeing a new dentist in Olathe who could make my life a little easier."
If there's anything that dental patients are interested in, it's knowing that they will be able to receive a brand of care that doesn't make them dread going to the dentist office like when they were kids. "If you have a bad taste in your mouth from your last dental experience, do yourself a favor and come see a dentist in Olathe who is committed to making your visit pleasant and relaxing," said Dr. Davidson.
