The Curly Cartel Launches Natural Beauty Experience Event Series In Beverly Hills

Los Angeles Based Support Group Begins Series of Events to Encourage a Natural Lifestyle

LOS ANGELES, CA, May 10, 2013 (Press-News.org) The Curly Cartel, Natural Beauty Experience was held at Confidential Lounge in Beverly Hills, Friday May 3rd. Event attendees found themselves immersed in beauty with over 40 sponsors and brands such as Kinky Curly, CURLS, and Eden's Body Beautiful. When asked about their inspiration for creating the Curly Cartel, Miss Dunnie O. and Ms. JGray said, "with the east coast having built such a foundation and support system for men and women returning to their natural state we felt it necessary to showcase the growing community on the west. Our natural family needed to know they had the same, if not more support."

The event brought out over 300 men and women of the natural community, and with food sponsors, shopping vendors, a beauty bar, mobile nail spa, pink carpet, and 9 beauty experts giving professional advice, the Curly Cartel was able to put their stamp on the natural community.

Featured talent, internationally touring spoken word poet Yazmin Watkins introduced her inspirational poem, The Sisterhood of the Curly Cartel as a gift to the organization in congratulations of their first event.
