LOS ANGELES, CA, May 15, 2013 (Press-News.org) Renowned Los Angeles violin studio launches online retail store to compliment their existing online catalog of fine, master-crafted instruments. The online store will offer lesser-cost violins, violas, cellos, bows, strings and accessories, as well as outfits for students and intermediate players from a number of different countries, all set up in their Los Angeles violin shop.
Los Angeles, CA March 8, 2013 - Benning Violins, the distinguished Los Angeles violin shop that has been a mainstay for premier players, concert performers and recording artists on the West Coast, has announced the launch of their online retail store. The web site, which goes live on March 12, 2013, will specialize in violins, violas and cellos for beginner, intermediate and advanced players, instrument bows, strings and accessories.
"We are extremely pleased to finally throw our hat into the online instrument market," said Business Manager Laura Phillips. "Our doing so has been in response to greater demand around the country for new, lower-cost instruments that are expertly set up to our exacting specifications in our shop by three of the most experienced luthiers in the world."
The Benning shop is widely known for maintaining the violins of Jascha Heifetz, considered to be the "violinist of the century", during the latter half of his storied career, as well as the instruments of many principal players of the Los Angeles Philharmonic. Hans Benning is a widely known master violinmaker, as is his son Eric, whose fine violins, violas and cellos are widely collected and played today by many prominent musicians.
According to Tony Ibarra, Online Store Manager, the fact that all new instruments are set up by either Hans, Eric or Brian Benning in their storied studio "sets the Benning store apart from the rest."
"Not all online stores are created equal," states Ibarra. "Even if we assume the violin outfits sold by other stores to be the same quality, the setup of these instruments makes the difference between a good sounding instrument and a fantastic sounding instrument. By the time the instrument is shipped, Eric, Brian or Hans have personally setup the instrument for optimal playability and tone.
Aside from instruments and outfits (violins, violas and cellos complete with cases, bows and accessories), the Benning store carries string instrument bows as well as strings and accessories from the top manufactures, including mutes, shoulder rests, and more. The store will offer multiple payment options and shipping options to all fifty states and customer service that is second to none.
"The Benning name has been synonymous in the music world with quality products and highly personal expert service since 1953," states Phillips. "Our new online store continues that long and proud tradition.
