PARIS, FRANCE, October 31, 2010 (Press-News.org) Fans of Black Rebel Motorcycle Club will be delighted to hear that the band are set to hit the stage in Paris in December.
The arrival of the band may be just the excuse that some music fans need to book a stay at hotels in Paris.
Black Rebel Motorcycle Club was formed in San Francisco by Robert Levon Been and Peter Hayes and have now released five albums to critical and commercial acclaim.
However, anyone who has seen the group play before may be surprised when they next see them, as Leah Shapiro has been brought in to play drums and had a real impact.
It was the new band member - who previously played for the Raveonettes - that helped come up with the name of the group's latest long-player Beat The Devil's Tattoo.
"Leah had given me a book of [Edgar Allan] Poe short stories and I'd immersed myself in it. The one phrase 'Beat The Devil's Tattoo' leaped out at me though for some reason," explained Been.
So there will be a new element to the band's live performance for attendees from accommodation such as Hotel Antin Trinite Paris to watch out for, as Shapiro will no doubt alter their stage presence as well.
Doors open at 18:30 local time, with the action kicking off at 19:00.
Admission costs EUR30.70 (GBP26.85) and tickets can be purchased online or at the box office.
For more information on this event visit the Elysee Montmartre website or contact the venue on +33 01 44 92 45 47.
