Vulcan manufacture custom-made skylights, glass canopies, covered walkways and atria and the acqisition will enable Whitesales to offer architects, surveyors, contractors and merchants a much broader product range. The purchase also significantly enhanced the design and installation service that Whitesales offer.
In order to ensure a smooth transition, the Whitesales and Vulcan teams have received in-depth training on the combined product ranges and services.
Vulcan's Sam Hewison, who has taken up the post of Glass Rooflight Product Manager at Whitesales, said "Becoming part of Whitesales is a tremendous move for Vulcan. It provides us with the opportunity to reach clients and markets which would previously have been out of our range.
