MILFORD, CT, May 18, 2013 (Press-News.org) Thinklogical LLC, a global manufacturer of secure fiber optic video and KVM routing and extension systems, today announced that respected audio-visual system expert Randy Pagnan and veteran post-production authority Gary Thompson will be featured presenters at the Thinklogical Technology Summit, May 22 at the Sheraton Cerritos Hotel in Cerritos, Calif.
Pagnan is president of RP Visual Solutions of Anaheim, Calif. With thirty years in the AV display industry, Pagnan's experience includes both the dealer/integration and manufacturing sides of the industry. Pagnan is an adjunct faculty instructor for InfoComm and is recognized as one of the premier educators on command and control design criteria and leading-edge display technologies. Pagnan will present on the current trends in command and control, network operations centers and security centers.
Thompson has over 25 years of engineering experience and is currently Chief Technology Officer and a consultant engineer with his company Blendo, Inc. He began his career at the Australian Broadcasting Corporation in Sydney and subsequently worked at high-end video post-production facilities in Melbourne, London and Los Angeles. Previously, Thompson held the position of VP of Engineering position at EFILM Hollywood. Thompson will present a case study on remoting a post-production facility over a distance using dark fiber and discuss the impact 4K will have on post-production workflows.
