HPG Senior Tax Leader Joins Rebuilding Together of the Triangle

HPG's Liz Broadway has joined the Rebuilding Together of the Triangle board of directors.

RALEIGH, NC October 31, 2010 (Press-News.org) Hughes Pittman & Gupton, LLP (www.hpg.com), a CPAmerica/Crowe Horwath International affiliate and largest CPA firm headquartered and staffed in the Research Triangle Park region of North Carolina, announces today that Liz Broadway has joined the board of directors of Rebuilding Together of the Triangle (www.rebuildingtogethertriangle.org). Broadway will serve on the area nonprofit's Fundraising Committee and assist in the development and implementation of a financial plan for growth.

"Liz's experience and passion make her an ideal fit for our board," says Wayne Maiorano, board chair for Rebuilding Together of the Triangle. "We are excited to welcome her to our team and look forward to her assistance as we continue to expand our capacities."

Through volunteers and sponsor donations, the organization provides home repairs to low-income families at no charge. Last year, volunteers helped complete 16 projects in the Triangle. Beneficiaries regularly include the elderly, disabled and military veterans.

"The dedication that each volunteer brings to Rebuilding Together of the Triangle is energizing," says Broadway. "I am looking forward to working with the board members and helping the organization make a sustainable impact in the community."

Broadway, a CPA, is senior tax manager and a leader on the firm's construction and real estate team. She has more than 15 years of public accounting experience, serving with HPG since 2006.
